Publishing and verification workflow
Writing and submission
Create an account and verify your email → prepare a draft and citations → record authors and rights → choose automatic checks or editorial review → correct any flagged issues → publish the approved version.
Editorial review
An editor can approve, request revisions, reject with a reason, escalate or return the manuscript to draft. Held submissions do not disappear. Administrative removal hides a publication from readers and search while retaining submitted history.
Institution verification
Institution request → supporting email with reference → administrator checks identity and representative authority → verified badge, revisions or rejection. Verification is revocable and is distinct from content verification.
Institutional reuse
Verified institution selects current published versions → describes intended use and changes → applicable licence and author/rightsholder permissions are reviewed → administrator records a decision and evidence. Selection alone grants no rights.
Source records and news
Independent collection → duplicate/change detection → source publication policy → public listing or review queue → indexed search and refreshed pages. Missing dates and restricted sources stay explicit.
Corrections and support
Send the original article/notice URL, the issue and supporting evidence to info@thelegalgazette.org. Do not send passwords or verification codes. A correction may change public status and certificate validity.
