How to use TLG tools

Read, search and follow sources
Use the newsroom, official notices and opportunities filters to find available records. Check source publication date separately from first detection and open the original publication for current authoritative details. Unified Search distinguishes local indexed results from supported external results. Select a source or group; restricted or unconfigured sources provide direct links rather than invented results.
Write, upload and cite
Register an individual or institution representative account and verify your email. Create a manuscript, fill required details, abstract, authors and rights fields, or upload a supported Word/PDF file within the displayed limits. Review imported text, tables, citations, footnotes and bibliography yourself. Save and use the source popup to register structured metadata or insert an existing source with a pinpoint; manual bibliography entries are available. Missing metadata must not be invented.
Submit and revise
Accept the rights declaration yourself after reading it. Submit for approval runs mandatory checks and shows problems to fix before editorial review. Saving does not publish. Editors can request revisions or decide publication. Published versions are locked; request permission to prepare a revision. Draft saves and published version numbers are distinct.
Professors and institutions
Professors request reviewer access with credentials and subject expertise; an administrator approves and assigns a blinded manuscript. Send revision feedback through the dashboard. Institutions use the same registration, request verification and send evidence by email with their reference. Selecting articles does not grant republication rights; check each licence and obtain additional permissions where needed.
Downloads and certificates
Article and manuscript downloads carry TLG branding where generated. Check imported source-file formatting before submitting. Certificates acknowledge an actual eligible publication; verify their current status and original article using the certificate ID or QR link. Revocation or removal can invalidate a certificate.
Lectures and cookies
Browse subjects and attributed lecture pages. Watch on the original channel, or enable external-media consent before using an available official embedded player. Embedding availability may change. Use Manage cookies in the footer to accept, reject or change non-essential choices. Submit lectures and corrections through the lecture request process.
Administrator workflow
Use Overview to inspect collection, mail and scan readiness. Keep Drafts, Submissions for approval and Published articles separate. Manage source permissions, failed jobs, reviewer assignments, institution requests and publication decisions in their respective sections. Review evidence before deletion; permanent deletion is guarded and irreversible. Preserve private database and scan-key backups together.
