Corrections, privacy requests and copyright concerns

Where to write
Email info@thelegalgazette.org with a subject identifying Copyright, Privacy, Publication correction, Account, Accessibility or Security. Include the affected URL or certificate ID, the problem, your requested outcome, supporting evidence and a reply address. Do not include passwords, OTPs or unnecessary identity documents. Urgent risks should be clearly identified.
Copyright and removal
Identify the protected work, the material complained of, your ownership or authority to act, the relevant URLs and a good-faith explanation. Creators may request corrections to attribution, link-only treatment or removal. Public availability and educational purpose alone do not establish permission. We may seek proportionate evidence, restrict a listing while investigating, and contact affected contributors where appropriate.
Review and response
Requests are reviewed by the editorial/operator team and routed to the appropriate account, rights or security workflow. We may ask for missing information and explain the decision or next steps. Applicable mandatory response and takedown deadlines take precedence over general service targets. If unresolved, reply to the same email thread with new evidence and request reconsideration; legal remedies remain available.
Publication record
An approved correction creates a new publication version. Removal may revoke certificates and retain a minimal withdrawal or verification record. An author’s request does not automatically delete a published record or cancel permissions already granted under an applicable licence. Administrative permanent deletion requires authorised review and is distinct from ordinary withdrawal.
