TLG uses essential cookies for requested sign-in and security services. Optional reading preferences and external video players stay off until you choose them. Accept all and Reject optional are equally available. Manage cookies in the footer lets you change your choice at any time. Browsing or scrolling is not consent.
Essential cookies
tlg_writer is an HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict writer sign-in cookie, lasting up to seven days. tlg_admin is an HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict administration cookie, lasting up to eight hours, with server-side inactivity expiry. Both use Secure on the hosted HTTPS website. They are set only when the relevant service is used. tlg_consent remembers your consent categories, policy version and choice time for 180 days. It contains no account ID. These essential cookies cannot be disabled through our optional settings; browser controls can remove them but may sign you out.
Optional reading preferences
When enabled, local storage remembers saved opportunities, saved/read notices and your browser-alert preference on this device. These are not stored in your TLG profile. With this category off, reading and saving in the current page still work in memory; those choices are not remembered after leaving. Turning this category off removes the TLG preference keys. Previously stored preferences are not read before consent. Browser alert permission is an additional browser choice.
Optional YouTube videos
No embedded YouTube player, remote preview image or YouTube preconnection is loaded before you enable external video media and choose Watch Lecture on Our Website. We use the official privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com player. Google/YouTube then receives technical information such as your IP address, browser and referring website and may use storage for playback, security, measurement or advertising under its own policies. Privacy-enhanced mode is not a guarantee of zero data processing. TLG does not read or control third-party cookies. Watch on YouTube is available without enabling embedded media and takes you to an external service.
Changing or withdrawing consent
Manage cookies in the footer allows separate choices for reading preferences and external media. Reject optional removes loaded TLG video frames and the listed local preference keys. We cannot delete cookies held on Google domains or reverse information already sent there; use your browser and Google privacy controls. If storage is blocked, settings apply in this page but may not persist. We ask again after expiry or a material consent-policy change.
Analytics and advertising
This release does not install TLG advertising trackers or analytics cookies. A YouTube player may display the original platform’s advertising. New non-essential services require a policy update and appropriate consent before activation. Server security and operational logs are separate from optional browser storage; see our Privacy Policy.
