The Legal Gazette

Write in your own words, cite evidence, identify co-authors and clearly distinguish analysis from the underlying judgment or statute. Our citation formatter checks structured details separately from source reachability and substantive verification. Missing metadata remains visible instead of being invented.

Choose automatic checks or editorial review when submitting. Automatic publication requires every mandatory check to pass. Flags hold the article for a human editor and remain visible with reasons. A basic rules engine cannot reliably determine all advertising, plagiarism or academic misconduct.

Source files require an explicit declaration that the intended use is permitted. Open access and lawful access to paid content do not by themselves grant republication rights. Authors must identify third-party material and retain applicable permissions.

The case-law directory is a curated starting collection covering India and selected other jurisdictions. Each entry shows its original source and verification limitations. A source check does not establish the full current precedential treatment of a case.

Academic institutions may reuse eligible TLG scholarship subject to the article licence, copyright, attribution, author consent and our Academic Reuse Policy. Proposed changes may require direct permission from the author and any other rights holder.
