The African human-rights system: the Court and the Case Law Analyser

The African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights publishes its judgments on its own site, and a separate free database, the African Human Rights Case Law Analyser, gathers decisions from across the continent's human-rights bodies. The analyser covers the African Commission, the African Court, the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child, the ECOWAS Court, the East African Court of Justice and the now-defunct SADC Tribunal, in English, French and Portuguese. It links each decision to the cases and treaties it cites, so you can follow the web of reasoning instead of one ruling at a time. It was funded by the Open Society Foundations with technical help from HURIDOCS. Its coverage depends on what the bodies have published, so cross-check against the court's own site.
