Shodhganga: every Indian doctoral thesis that universities have uploaded, in one free shelf
Shodhganga is the national open-access repository of Indian PhD theses, hosted by the INFLIBNET Centre, and anyone can read it without paying or registering. Universities were required by a UGC regulation to submit electronic copies of their doctoral theses, and this repository is where they land. Imagine each university's thesis cupboard wired into one library, with a Department of Law shelf for many of them. It is built on the open-source DSpace software and can be browsed by university, department, researcher, guide, title or keyword. The honest limit is that a thesis is examined by the university that awards it, not edited like a journal article, so treat it as a rich source of literature reviews and bibliographies and verify the citations you lift from it.
