Normattiva, wetten.overheid.nl and the BOE: Italy, the Netherlands and Spain

Three more free official portals deserve a bookmark: Normattiva for Italian legislation, wetten.overheid.nl for Dutch legislation, and the Boletín Oficial del Estado for Spanish law. A Council of Europe survey of official websites that the public can use freely listed each of them as its country's main source for legal texts. Each is in the national language, so the practical tip is to start from the European Union's N-Lex gateway if you do not read it, then use a translation tool for the first pass and a lawyer or a trusted translation for anything that matters. They are the official texts, which is exactly why they beat a summary on a commercial site.
