Légifrance: French law, free from the state

Légifrance is the French state's free public service for French law online, run under the government's general secretariat. It gives access to the Constitution, the codes, laws and decrees published in the Journal Officiel (full text from 1990, with references and facsimiles for 1947 to 1989), the case law of the constitutional, administrative and other courts, and European and international law. Search forms let you look across several legal databases at once. Think of it as the official one-stop shop for French law, and so a safer source than a random site that quotes it. The interface is in French, which is the authoritative language.
