Lawphil and the Philippine Supreme Court's E-Library: two free ways into Philippine law

Lawphil is a free, non-profit Philippine legal website, and the Supreme Court of the Philippines runs its own free E-Library called The Bookshelf. Lawphil is a project of the Arellano Law Foundation and offers statutes from 1900, the 1987, 1973 and 1935 constitutions and the 1899 Malolos Constitution, and Supreme Court decisions from 1910. It is a private foundation's project, not the official gazette. The Bookshelf, compiled by the Court itself, covers Supreme Court cases, laws, executive issuances, references and treaties. Use Lawphil for ease of browsing and the Court's library when you need the official version.
