Constitute: the world's constitutions, side by side
Constitute is a free website where you can read, search and compare nearly every national constitution in force, and it comes from a university research project, not from any government. The Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Chicago, led by Zachary Elkins and Tom Ginsburg, built it with Google Ideas and launched it in 2013. The trick is that each text is tagged by topic, so you can ask "how do different constitutions handle the right to privacy?" and see the clauses lined up instead of reading a hundred documents. Spanish and Arabic versions exist. Content is licensed for non-commercial use under a Creative Commons licence, which matters if you plan to republish it.
