Institution verification and academic reuse
Request an institution account
Choose Institution when registering, or apply from the Institutions page after signing in. Supply the organisation, official website, representative role and jurisdiction. Confirm your authority to request verification.
Send supporting email
Email info@thelegalgazette.org from your institutional mailbox. Quote the TLG-INST request reference shown in your workspace and describe your authority to represent the organisation. Supply official evidence or a public institutional directory link. Do not email passwords, OTPs or unnecessary personal documents.
Track verification
An administrator reviews the account and email evidence, then verifies, requests revisions or rejects the request with a reason. A badge is never granted by registration or OTP alone. A badge identifies an institution account reviewed by TLG; it is not accreditation, endorsement or an article-quality certification.
Select published work
A verified institution can save published articles in its private workspace and submit a reuse request for a journal, teaching materials, repository or research project. Select the current published version and explain intended use and proposed changes.
Respect the article’s rights
A selection or TLG badge does not grant copyright or author consent. Follow the applicable licence and obtain any additional permissions needed. Open licences may independently permit reuse under their conditions; the TLG request workflow does not remove those permissions. A TLG decision cannot grant rights TLG does not hold.
Keep evidence
Record author/rightsholder consent and any approved changes before republication. Attribution, original article links and licence conditions remain applicable. Institution identity changes require renewed verification; badge revocation prevents new institution requests while preserving the history.
