Verfassungsblog, the European Law Blog and the IACL blog: constitutional law as it happens

These three free blogs follow constitutional and European law as events unfold. Verfassungsblog was founded in 2009 by the legal journalist Maximilian Steinbeis, publishes mostly in English or German, and aims its comment and analysis at the general public as well as specialists. The European Law Blog is written and edited by legal scholars and practitioners across Europe. The blog of the International Association of Constitutional Law is meant as a meeting place for constitutional scholars worldwide. Verfassungsblog is run by a non-profit company and asks readers for financial support, though reading it costs nothing. They are the fastest way to see an informed argument about a ruling before the law reviews catch up.
