WorldLII — one search box, 120-plus jurisdictions

WorldLII is the closest thing to a "search everywhere at once" button for free law worldwide. It federates AustLII, BAILII, CanLII, HKLII, Cornell's LII, PacLII, and its own databases into a single search covering more than 1,800 databases across 120-plus jurisdictions — over 50 gigabytes of searchable legal text, run as a non-profit, university-coordinated project rather than a company. Use it when you don't know which country's LII holds what you need; use the national site directly once you do, since it'll usually have better filters.
