eCourts Services Portal
case status for the other 99% of Indian litigation

Most Indian cases never reach a High Court, let alone the Supreme Court — they live and die in district and taluka courts, and this is where those courts show up online. Over 2,850 court complexes report into eCourts, offering real-time case status, cause lists, and caveat searches. If a relative in a small town tells you "the case is still going on," this portal is how you check whether that's actually true. It also connects to SMS and email alert subscriptions, which quietly makes it one of the more useful pieces of e-governance India has shipped.
