Digitised Indian Law Reports, 1876–1940
colonial-era case law, scanned and open

A specific, slightly hidden gem: a digitisation project (documented via an Oxford library guide) that put the old Indian Law Reports — Allahabad, Calcutta, Bombay, Madras, Lahore, Rangoon, Patna, Lucknow — online as open-access scanned volumes covering 1876 to 1940. If your research reaches back into colonial-era precedent, this is one of the only free routes to the original reports rather than a modern citation of them.
